ARC Raiders bounty rules, proof and FAQ

Question 1

Are BountyRaiders bounties real money?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every bounty is funded in US dollars when it is posted, by card through Stripe or from wallet credit, and held as escrow credit until it is paid out or expires. When a moderator approves a hunter's proof, the reward (minus the platform fee for the hunter's tier) goes into the hunter's wallet and can be withdrawn to PayPal. Free community lists such as Speranza Bounties reward points; BountyRaiders pays cash.

Question 2

Is BountyRaiders free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Creating an account, browsing the board, using the Did I Win? checker and posting a bounty are all free; a bounty costs only the amount you put on it, with a $5 minimum and no posting fee. Hunters can optionally upgrade to Premium ($3.99/month) or VIP ($9.99/month) to claim bigger bounties, claim more often and pay a lower platform fee, but the Free tier can claim and get paid for bounties up to $10.

Question 3

Do I need Discord to use BountyRaiders?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for anything involving money. Sign-in is Discord-only: it is free, takes a few seconds, and BountyRaiders reads only your Discord username and avatar. It is how we keep out throwaway accounts and how moderators reach you about a claim or a payout. Browsing the bounty board, the most wanted list and the Did I Win? checker do not need an account.

Question 4

What is the minimum bounty I can post?

Accepted Answer

$5. There is no maximum. The amount decides who can hunt it: up to $10 is open to every hunter, $10.01 to $25 needs Premium or VIP, and anything above $25 is VIP-only. You pay exactly the bounty amount; the platform fee is deducted from the hunter's payout, not added to your bill.

Question 5

Is BountyRaiders the same as Speranza Bounties?

Accepted Answer

No. Speranza Bounties is a separate fan-made site that runs a free, vote-based most-wanted list and rewards confirmed kills with points and leaderboard placement. BountyRaiders is a real-money bounty board: bounties are funded in cash, held in escrow, and paid to the hunter after moderators approve the proof. The two are run by different people and are not connected. Our comparison page at bountyraiders.com/arc-raiders-bounty-sites covers the differences.

Question 6

Do I have to claim/join a bounty before hunting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You must be logged in, registered, and have explicitly clicked 'Claim Bounty' (joining the hunt) BEFORE you engage the target. Kills made without an active claim will not be paid out, as the system tracks the bounty status from the moment you claim it.

Question 7

Can I get paid if I killed the target but never claimed the bounty?

Accepted Answer

No. The system requires an active 'Hunting' status to process a claim. If you stumble upon a target, you must check if the bounty is active and claim it on the site immediately before or during the engagement for it to count.

Question 8

Why do I need to register my ARC name and confirm Discord is linked?

Accepted Answer

To prevent fraud and make moderation fast and fair. Mods verify your proof by matching the in-game name in your screenshots/video to the ARC name you registered on BountyRaiders. If your identity isn’t set up, you won’t be able to hunt, submit proof, or get paid.

Question 9

Can multiple hunters claim the same bounty?

Accepted Answer

Yes — multiple hunters can claim and hunt the same target. The bounty is paid out to the first hunter whose proof is approved. Once a bounty is completed, all other hunts for that bounty are closed.

Question 10

How long does a bounty stay active?

Accepted Answer

Most bounties run for 30 days. If a bounty expires before a valid claim is approved, it can no longer be paid out.

Question 11

What counts as a valid bounty kill?

Accepted Answer

Only kills where you send the target back to Speranza (fully eliminated/knocked out from the match) count. Simply 'downing' a player is NOT enough, as they can be revived. You must provide proof of the actual elimination.

Question 12

What proof do I need to submit?

Accepted Answer

We strongly recommend a video clip showing the fight and elimination. At a minimum, you must provide screenshots of the end-of-match log showing: 1) The target's name, 2) Your name, and 3) the 'KNOCKED OUT' or elimination entry. Ambiguous or blurry proofs are rejected.

Question 13

How can I check if someone I killed had a bounty?

Accepted Answer

Use the Did I Win? tool at bountyraiders.com/did-i-win: paste the names from your ARC Raiders post-match or recent-players screen and we look for exact matches on the live bounty board (no login required to check). If there’s a match, sign in to accept the hunt and submit proof through the normal flow. A name match does not guarantee payment—claims still require valid proof and moderator approval.

Question 14

What if I can’t fit both names in one screenshot?

Accepted Answer

Upload two screenshots from the same match: one clearly showing the target’s elimination, and one clearly showing your name (scoreboard/stats). This is common — the important part is that both names are verifiable from the same match.

Question 15

What if my proof is rejected?

Accepted Answer

If your proof is ambiguous (e.g., only shows DOWNED, the names are blurry, the kill is credited to someone else, or the media looks edited), mods will reject it. Moderator decisions are final, but if the bounty is still active you can hunt the target again and submit better proof.

Question 16

What extra proof do streamers need to submit?

Accepted Answer

If you are hunting a streamer (or claiming a VIP streamer bounty), you MUST provide video proof (Clip or VOD timestamp). Screenshots alone are not accepted for high-value streamer bounties to prevent fraud.

Question 17

Are streamer bounties different, and which tier do I need?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Streamer bounties always require video proof, and who can claim one depends on the reward. The platform-funded streamer bounties are $20 each, which is above the Free tier's $10 cap, so they need Premium or VIP. Community-posted bounties on streamers above $25 are VIP-only. The live list is at bountyraiders.com/streamer-bounties.

Question 18

Is stream sniping allowed?

Accepted Answer

NO. Stream sniping (watching a streamer's broadcast to find or track them in-game) is strictly prohibited. All kills must be organic — you find the target through normal gameplay, not by watching their stream. Proof showing suspicious timing, pathing, or third-party overlay will be rejected. Repeated violations result in a permanent ban. Fair play only!

Question 19

What if someone 'steals' my kill?

Accepted Answer

The bounty is awarded to the hunter who is credited by the game with the elimination. If you do 99% damage but another squad lands the final blow, you cannot claim the bounty. Check your game logs to be sure.

Question 20

What happens to my money if a bounty expires?

Accepted Answer

When you post a bounty, the amount is held as on-platform credit (escrow) until the bounty is completed or expires. If it expires (typically after 30 days) without an approved completion, the full amount is returned to the bounty poster’s BountyRaiders wallet as credit. Expiry is evaluated automatically on a schedule (currently once per day), so your wallet balance may update within up to about 24 hours after the listed expiry time—not necessarily the same second. You can use returned credit to post new bounties, purchase Premium or VIP from your wallet (higher tiers unlock larger bounties, including the $20 streamer bounties), or request a withdrawal. If you have any questions (or need help cashing out to PayPal/Wise), ask us in Discord — we’re transparent and reply as soon as possible.

Question 21

How do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

When your claim is approved by a mod, your payout (minus the platform fee for your tier) is added to your BountyRaiders wallet. At launch, withdrawals are processed manually (PayPal supported; other methods like Wise may be handled via support depending on region).

Question 22

How much can a bounty hunter earn?

Accepted Answer

Community bounties start at $5 and are set by the poster, and the platform keeps $20 bounties on well-known streamers live at all times. Your payout is the bounty minus the platform fee: 15% on Free, 10% on Premium and VIP. A $10 bounty pays a Free hunter $8.50; a $20 streamer bounty pays a Premium hunter $18. What you can earn is capped by your tier rather than by the board: Free hunters can claim two bounties a week up to $10 each, Premium ten a week up to $25, VIP fifty a week with no cap.

Question 23

What is the platform fee?

Accepted Answer

A small platform fee is deducted from hunter payouts to cover moderation and operations. Free tier payouts have a higher fee, while Premium/VIP hunters pay less.

Question 24

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The minimum withdrawal is $1. Withdrawals are processed manually and may take some time depending on volume and payment method.
